An explosion occurred today near the Russian Embassy in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. According to unconfirmed reports, two victims, including a Russian diplomat.
According to Reuters, the explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber who tried to approach the embassy building. However, the Afghan armed guard of the embassy opened fire on the attacker.
The explosion happened when the Russian diplomat came out to the people gathered in the queue with lists of applicants for visas. The number of victims and injured is estimated at 15-20 people.
