The European Union has changed the head of its diplomatic mission in Russia. That position was held by the German diplomat Markus Ederer. "Marcus Ederer has left Russia, and shortly Roland Galliarag, the former ambassador of France to Malaysia, will occupy that position," the TASS source said, stressing that the rotation "is of a planned nature."
Before that, on September 4, the US Embassy in Russia announced the departure of Ambassador John Sullivan from Moscow.
