Trump quoted Lenin. "Turns out he's right."

During a speech at a rally with his supporters in Pennsylvania, former US President Donald Trump quoted the words of Vladimir Lenin and agreed with him.

Speaking about the US elections, Trump reminded the audience of Lenin's statement that the vote count is much more important than the candidate. "It turns out that he is right," RIA Novosti quoted Trump saying. He is confident that the 2020 elections were unfair, and the fraud that he believes took place during the tabulation of the results deprived him of a second presidential term.

It is believed that Trump meant the following words of Lenin: "It is not important who and how will vote in the party, but what is extremely important is who and how will count the votes." These words are often attributed to another Soviet leader, Joseph Stalin.

Earlier, Trump stated that the USA had become a third-world country in many ways. "We are a country whose economy is weakening, whose supply chains are disrupted, where stores are not full," said the former president.

He added that the USA is no longer respected and listened to worldwide.
