In Moscow, they say goodbye to the first and only president of the USSR, Mikhail Gorbachev. The ceremony takes place at the House of Trade Unions in Moscow.
The ceremony will last for two hours and will end before noon. Entrance to the hall is free. Mikhail Gorbachev will be buried in the Novodevichy cemetery.
Dmitry Medvedev and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban have already participated in Mikhail Gorbachev's farewell ceremony. Cameras also captured Alla Pugacheva, who left the country after the start of Russian special operations in Ukraine and only recently returned to Moscow.
