China will transit the Internet to Europe through Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan announced that it is planned to transit the Chinese Internet to Europe through the Caspian Sea and the territory of Azerbaijan. The department noted that a 50/50 joint venture would be created to implement the project.
The project envisages the transit of Chinese traffic through the territory of Kazakhstan and an underwater cable to Azerbaijan with further exit to Europe (through the part of Georgia to the Black Sea-Bulgaria-Slovakia).
