The UN Secretary-General and the Foreign Minister of Iran had a telephone conversation

In a phone conversation with Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abd Abdollahian, the day after the US response, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed hope that the nuclear talks would lead to an agreement. Several issues of common interest on regional and global platforms were discussed in the telephone conversation.

As for the embargo cancellation negotiations, Abdollahyan said. "Yesterday, America responded to Iran's proposals, and now my colleagues are discussing them."

"We assured all parties that solving the issues is a fundamental necessity, and we have a serious and real will to reach a firm agreement, and we showed that will," Abodlahyan noted.
