Papikyan and Shoigu discussed issues of Armenian-Russian cooperation

Armenian and Russian Defense Ministers Suren Papikyan and Sergey Shoigu held talks within the 10th Moscow Conference on International Security Issues framework. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"We have something to discuss; there are traditional issues related to our military-technical and military cooperation. And, of course, the issues related to the activities of our military peacekeeping group, which solves the problems in Nagorno-Karabakh. Just like you, we are as sure as before that the main stabilizing factor is the ceasefire regime along the contact line," Shoigu stated.

"This meeting is crucial for us. We highly appreciate the achieved level of Armenian-Russian cooperation and the role of the Russian presence in the South Caucasus," the RA Minister of Defense stated in response.
