The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Financial, Credit and Budgetary Issues, Tsovinar Vardanyan, wrote on her social media page:
“Dear people,
For the first time, we are welcoming the New Year in conditions of peace. The peace that has been heard around our tables for decades, as a wish and a dream of all of us, is our reality today.
And now, how should we deal with peace, which is silent, does not scream, like war, does not record the number of lives saved per day, does not wake us up from our sleep at night, does not alarm, does not occupy our thoughts, does not seize our mental state, does not choke our throats, does not depress, does not look for the guilty and the innocent.
We must listen to the silence of peace, we must notice its healing presence, we must shake ourselves and our thoughts off the bitter past, being grateful to our children, who gave us the invaluable at the cost of their lives, we must create to ensure a new quality of civilization and well-being for our state and ourselves, we must live life to the fullest.
Happy New Year to all.
P.S. I am publishing my congratulations today so that there is time to reflect before gathering around the festive table.
