"The state budget is not a prize fund. It is a contract with a citizen.
For what result did the NA deputy receive a 3 million dram bonus from the state budget this month?
Has poverty decreased? Has the quality of education increased? Has the pension's size become more dignified? Have the salaries of teachers, doctors, and military personnel increased many times? Has the risk of corruption decreased?
If these questions have no answer, the bonus is systemic irresponsibility.
When a contract signed with a citizen is violated, the public does not see only the money; it considers the attitude of "not caring."
This is not how a state is built; this is how a state is destroyed from within.
When a fifth of the country is poor, being in power should be about restraint, responsibility, for example.
"And this is not an example. This is demonstrative indifference," he wrote.
