"From the moment when November 9, one might say, was removed from the agenda of the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations, and unmediated talks began, and against this background, the influence of the American side also increased, the titular opposition in Armenia started to talk about the importance of November 9, noting that it is precisely this agreement that allows Armenia to protect its own interests. And before that, they considered November 9 to be a betrayal, a disgrace, a capitulation.
This suggests one thing: these individuals do not position themselves based on state interests, but rather according to their convenience. In other words, if at a given moment they need to give up state interests to come to power, then they will do it.
That's how they trampled on those interests in 1998, trampled on them by rigging numerous elections, and trampled on them after 2018, when, understanding very well that war was inevitable, they provoked the new authorities daily, saying that they had come to give away the lands, and so on.
They are doing the same thing now. Everyone knows that at the moment, specific opportunities have opened up for Armenia to catch its breath, to utilize time to its advantage, and to alleviate fears within society. But again, that same group targets all of that daily, because their goal is not Armenia, but to have power in Armenia."
