Arman Babajanyan, the chairman of the "For the Republic" party, wrote on his Facebook page:
"The Pashinyan-Sandu meeting is a landmark, but Sandu should not only meet, but also learn how to defeat the enemies of the state and democracy.
Democratic security should become the axis of state security. In just three years in office, Maya Sandu clearly demonstrated that sovereignty begins with institutions: full transparency in party financing, independent justice, protection of the electoral system, cyber hygiene, and the prevention of false information. Here is the mechanism by which the criminal oligarchy's chain of interests is broken and the lever of foreign influence retreats.
Armenia needs the same logic: from promises to institutional solutions. Transparent reporting of sources of political money, absolute independence of anti-corruption investigations, protection of electoral and digital infrastructure, a national media literacy program, as well as qualitative sanitation of the judicial system with inevitable responsibility. This is not a "fight against someone"; it is an agenda for strengthening the state's institutions.
Yerevan-Kishinev cooperation should be implemented immediately by introducing mechanisms for joint anti-corruption investigations, coordinating the exchange of electoral management experience, defining a common framework for rapid response to cyberattacks, introducing comparable standards for political financing control, and formulating legal procedures for the return and confiscation of illegally obtained assets. This is the basis of democratic security and the path to stabilizing our statehood and developing democracy.
