The head of the “Union of Informed Citizens” organization, Daniel Ioannisyan, wrote on his Facebook page:
“And could it be that the girl, an employee of the Foreign Ministry, who is being investigated for treason, did not even know that her partner was working on Azerbaijanis?
And could it be that the girl would not have given in to the alleged blackmail of the Azerbaijani to publish (send to her parents) the footage of sex with her partner, if our society did not treat sex so morbidly?
And could all this not have been prevented if the Foreign Ministry had known how to work with personnel and had a procedure in place for reporting foreign romantic relationships?
And could it be that this girl will also be acquitted in the end, like the heroes of numerous other “scandalous” arrests in connection with treason cases?
P.S. Yes, it is also possible that this girl knowingly and willingly sold secrets. But my experience suggests that not everything is so black and white."
