US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland has expressed readiness to consider easing sanctions against Russia if Moscow withdraws its troops from Ukraine, returns the occupied Ukrainian territories, and starts serious negotiations with it.
"In the context of the Russian decision to conduct serious negotiations, withdraw forces from Ukraine and return territories, I would naturally welcome the easing of sanctions," Nuland said during a US Senate hearing.
