Sanctions were imposed against the clergy of the Ukrainian and Russian churches

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky approved the imposition of sanctions against businessman and clergyman Vadim Novinsky (net worth: $1 billion, 8th place in the ranking of the wealthiest business people in Ukraine by Forbes) and Kyiv-Pechersk deputy Pavel (real name: Pyotr Lebed) for the Ukrainian National the decision of the security council.
In total, sanctions were imposed on 10 people, most of whom were clergy members.
