Morocco has handed over modernized Soviet T-72B tanks to Ukraine, becoming the first African country to supply tanks to Ukraine. The mass media announced Morocco's plans to provide armored vehicles to Kyiv in December 2022.
As the "Menadefense" platform reports, the first batch of about 20 tanks has already been sent to the combat zone by the armed forces of Ukraine. The tanks were modernized at the Excalibur Army factory in the Czech Republic.
