The number of victims of the Russian military in Makiivka has reached 89
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that as a result of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the temporary deployment point of one of the military units located in the Makiivka region of Donetsk, the number of Russian soldiers killed had reached 89. Earlier, the department said 63 were dead. The Ministry of Defense stated that the cause of the incident was the "massive" use of mobile phones by the soldiers.
"Unfortunately, during the analysis of the ruins of the reinforced concrete constructions, the number of our dead comrades has reached 89. Deputy commander of the regiment, lieutenant colonel Bachurin, is among the victims. Necessary help and support are being provided to all the injured and the families of the fallen servicemen," the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
It is noted that the HIMARS volley fire station made the attack, and four shells fell on the building.
