An intense explosion occurred at the largest power plant in Ukraine, Dniproges. Eyewitnesses published a video on the Internet showing that thick, black smoke was coming from the power plant area. Previously, the substation in the size of the dam was damaged. The information about the incident was confirmed by Vladimir Rogov, a member of the military-civil administration of the Zaporizhia region.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine announced that the country would stop exporting electricity from October 11 after the Russian missile attacks. The superintendence department of Ukraine added that such a decision was made to stabilize the domestic electricity system.
As reported by the local press and the authorities, missile attacks were carried out on the most critical infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine.
