The US delivered the first two NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine. This was announced on Tuesday by the executive director of the American company Raytheon Technologies, which produces NASAMS, Greg Hayes, in an interview with CNBC.
The supplies are planned to be part of Ukraine's Security Promotion Initiative, which involves the US Department of Defense contracting with manufacturers rather than providing equipment directly from Pentagon stockpiles.
