More than 8.7 thousand Ukrainian children were kidnapped and taken to Russia

Darya Gerasimchuk, Commissioner of Children's Rights of the President of Ukraine, announced on the telethon that more than 8.7 thousand Ukrainian children were taken to Russia. "Today we have data on 8,709 children who, according to their parents, friends, and relatives, have been identified as forcibly displaced or abducted," said Gerasimchuk. According to him, the Russians are trying to distribute children kidnapped in Ukraine throughout Russia to make it challenging to find them.
