The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that information about the first cases of death of those mobilized in Russia had caused criticism of the Russian command among propagandists and military bloggers. The latter writes that the number of killed and wounded among the mobilized is higher due to unpreparedness, lack of equipment and cohesion of units and commanders, and illegal mobilization.
Analysts provide maps of the military operations, pointing out, in particular, the advance of Ukrainian troops northwest of Svatovo, ongoing Russian defensive operations in the face of Ukrainian attacks on Kremennaya, and attempts by Russian soldiers to recapture positions to the north and northwest.
