Ukrainian troops are confidently advancing toward Kherson. British intelligence

The Ministry of Defense of Britain dedicates its regular summary of the situation of the war in Ukraine to the development of events in the Kherson region, where Ukrainian troops are advancing confidently.
Russian troops, which retreated about 20 km north in the direction of Kherson in early October, are trying to strengthen a new military front west of Milovo town.
- Fierce fighting continues in those areas, especially in the western part of the front line, where the Ingulets River no longer protects the flank of the Russian front due to a successful attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Most of the Russian troops in this area are air force complexes.
- In recent days, the Russian occupation authorities have given an order to prepare for the evacuation of some civilians from Kherson. They likely expect that the hostilities will be transferred to Kherson.
