"France will not use nuclear weapons against Russia if Putin decides to launch a nuclear attack on Ukraine," said French President Emmanuel Macron.
"Our doctrine is based on the nation's fundamental interests, and they are very clearly defined. If a nuclear missile attack hits Ukraine, those interests will not be questioned," Macron said.
