The heads of the defense agencies will discuss such issues as military support to Ukraine (mainly air defense systems), protection of critical infrastructure facilities against the backdrop of sabotage incidents, as well as stockpiling at the expense of increased weapons production.
Speaking before the meeting, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that on October 12, the contact group's discussion on the Ukraine issue would also take place, in which the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Alexey Reznikov, will participate.
The NATO Secretary General said, "NATO gives a clear signal of its unwavering support to Ukraine. The heads of the defense agencies will discuss the possibilities of increasing military support to that country. Priority is given to the issue of providing more air defense systems to Ukraine,"
