British intelligence reports about a personnel problem in the Russian army. Since July, the Kremlin-linked Russian private military company Wagner has been recruiting Russian prisoners to serve in Ukraine. Prisoners are offered a reduced sentence and monetary incentives.
At the same time, Russian military academies are shortening training courses and speeding up cadets' graduation. It almost certainly means that graduates of military schools can be used in Ukraine. The Russian armed forces feel the personnel problem more acutely.
