"Not only the military and not only those who took up arms participate in this war, but also our little children, who are not guilty at all, except for the fact that they were born here and at this particular moment," Zaluzhni noted. "They don't understand anything about what's going on, but they need protection both in Soledar, and in Bakhmut, and Velika Novoselka, and here, because their fathers went to the front and probably they are one of those 9 thousand dead: one of the heroes," he said.
This was announced by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, during the "Defenders: Call" forum.
