Rockstar Games has announced that the release of GTA VI has been delayed until November 19, 2026.
The official release date was previously set for May 26, 2026.
"The additional months will allow us to complete the game to the level of perfection that you expect and deserve," Rockstar Games said in a statement.
GTA VI is one of the most anticipated video games by gamers around the world. Rockstar initially promised a release in 2025, but May 26, 2026, has become the first confirmed release date.
So far, two trailers for GTA VI have been released. The first is scheduled for 2023, and the second for May 2025.
The previous game in the series, GTA V, was released in 2013. It became one of the most successful games in the gaming industry's history.
