Concerns in the crypto market

The rapid growth of crypto companies selling tokens tied to stocks has raised concerns among traditional financial institutions, which warn that these innovative instruments could pose risks to both investors and market stability.

US President Donald Trump’s stance on crypto assets and the regulatory initiatives initiated by his administration have spurred the development of the sector. Robinhood, Gemini, Kraken, and several other companies have already launched tokenized stocks in Europe. At the same time, Coinbase, Robinhood, and startup Dinari have applied for permission to launch similar products in the US. Recently, Nasdaq became the first major exchange to offer tokenized stocks.

Industry representatives argue that blockchain-based tokens that track traditional stocks could fundamentally change the stock market, providing 24-hour trading and instant settlements.
