On September 24, at 13:31 Yerevan time, a solar flare of M1.0 class was recorded on the Sun, which lasted for 47 minutes, TASS reports, citing the Institute of Applied Geomagnetic Geophysics.
According to the report of specialists, M-class explosions are considered medium-intensity explosions that can have a certain impact on the Earth's magnetosphere.
Experts emphasize that, at present, the flare does not pose a serious threat to the Earth, and the risk remains at a moderate level.
