Swedish music streaming platform Spotify Technology is set to add a new messaging feature to both its free and premium subscribers, aiming to attract more users and fend off increasing competition.
The new feature will allow users to send messages and share music with those they’ve connected with on Spotify. The feature will be available to those aged 16 and over on smartphones in select markets starting this week.
