Nvidia CEO: "The humanoid robot revolution is near"

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang believes that humanoid robots will be widely used in manufacturing enterprises within the next five years.

He presented software tools that, according to him, will help robots more effectively navigate their environment.

When reporters asked Huang how artificial intelligence (AI) has become widespread, Huang replied, "We will see it when humanoid robots start walking around us, and this will happen not in five years but in a few years."

According to him, these robots will first be used in manufacturing because the tasks are straightforward, and the environment is controllable. "I think they will first be used in factories, where the environment is limited, and the use cases are specific."

Huang noted that the cost of humanoid robots can be easily calculated: "The current cost of hiring a human robot is about $100,000, and that's a pretty good economic investment."
