Microsoft releases AI for doctors

The American corporation Microsoft introduced the Dragon Copilot voice assistant, which was developed for doctors. The company's official website reports.

This service based on artificial intelligence (AI) is designed to simplify and speed up doctors' work. The virtual assistant can quickly collect information from medical sources, write letters, and compile clinical notes and summaries after a patient's visit.

Dragon Copilot is based on Dragon Medical One (DMO) and DAX Copilot (DAX) technologies. In particular, through DMO, Microsoft has documented billions of patients' medical histories.

"Thanks to this technology, doctors can focus on the patient, not the computer. This will lead to better results and, ultimately, better quality medical care for everyone," said David Ryu, director of medical affairs at Microsoft.

According to the company's manager Ken Harper, doctors can communicate with artificial intelligence in natural language, and the virtual assistant will understand them correctly.
