YouTube has introduced an updated Dream Screen feature, writes Kommersant.
Now, it allows you to create full-length videos based on a text description for the Shorts section of short videos. The tool works based on the Google Veo 2 neural network and allows users to choose the videos' styles, effects, and duration.
Previously, DreamScreen could only be used to create backgrounds, but now videos created with its help will be published in Shorts. To do this, activate the camera, open the media file selection panel, click the "create" button, and enter a text query. The feature is available in the US, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. In the future, YouTube plans to expand its geography but does not specify exact dates.
All created videos will indicate the fact of using AI.
