MacRumors reports that Apple has launched a large-scale study to assess the impact of its gadgets on users' health.
US users who download the Apple Research application and consent to data processing can participate.
Representatives of the IT giant called the study the most comprehensive: it will cover activity, aging, the state of the heart, blood vessels and blood circulation, hearing, mental health, and other aspects.
The upcoming study was called the largest in the last five years; the last large-scale study was conducted by the corporation in 2019. Apple will process the data together with specialists from various specialized organizations, including Harvard Medical School.
