Apple is concerned

According to Reuters, Apple has criticized an app with 18+ content that has become available in the European Union.

Since 2008, the App Store has opened on iPhones, and Apple has controlled which apps are available to users. Steve Jobs said in 2010 that removing pornography from the iPhone was Apple’s “moral responsibility” and one of the company’s key motivations.

AltStore has begun distributing an app called HotTub, described as “a private, safe way for adults to view content.”

“We are deeply concerned about the risks such apps pose to users, especially children. This app and others like it will undermine consumer trust in our ecosystem,” Apple said in a statement.
