"They don't have any money." Musk

Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman have entered a new conflict over the Stargate project.

The project, a collaboration between OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank, has been backed by President Donald Trump, who has touted it as a “statement of confidence in America’s potential.”

Trump has said that the initial private investment for Stargate is $100 billion, but the total investment could exceed that by five times. The project has already begun and is considered another significant step forward in the development of artificial intelligence.

However, Musk, one of Trump’s trusted advisers and the head of the government’s spending reduction initiative, has questioned the value of such an investment.

“They don’t have any money. SoftBank has provided less than $10 billion. I have reliable information about it,” Musk wrote on his X social media platform.
