Elon Musk also reaffirmed his commitment to connecting Armenia to the wider world, not just in terms of internet access but also in other areas where Starlink can impact.

Forbes writes that Elon Musk was initially expected to attend the Kit conference in Armenia, but Razmik Hovakimyan delivered a message in Musk's voice, presenting the launch of Starlink.

Musk confirmed the Starlink investment plans and emphasized that the project will be essential for Armenia, especially in space research and IT (artificial intelligence).

The RA government is actively cooperating with SpaceX to regulate the launch of Starlink. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expects the testing to be completed within the next few months, which will allow speeding up the service's availability.

Starlink will significantly impact rural and remote areas of Armenia by providing access to Internet connectivity that is essential for education and telemedicine.

The launch of Starlink is also essential for strengthening Armenia's geopolitical position. It will increase Armenia's independence, enabling it to avoid blocking the Internet by neighboring countries.
