Neuralink implant will help people born blind to see

American businessman Elon Musk said Neuralink's new visual implant will help blind people from birth to see.

According to him, the implant, Blindsight, will also help people who have lost eyes and optic nerves but whose visual cortex is not damaged.

Musk noted that the image quality would be low at the initial stage and comparable to the graphics of Atari game consoles. However, the device is planned to be improved in the future for the perception of infrared and ultraviolet spectra.
