Apple will allow contactless payments on its devices with more than just Apple Pay

US company Apple is ready to allow contactless payments through mobile wallets and other providers' payment services on iOS-based devices to address competition concerns in the European Economic Area (EEA), according to the press release of the European Commission.

Device owners will not be required to use Apple Pay or Apple Wallet. In addition, third-party providers will not be charged, and users can purchase products using their apps and outside the EEA.
