The four-legged HOUND robot, developed by South Korean engineers of the KAIST Institute, entered the Guinness Book of Records, running 100 m in 19.87 seconds with an average speed of 18.1 km/h.
All actions were performed using a single controller built into the simulator, from starting to running to stopping.
