The official launch ceremony of India's HAL Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) attack helicopter is underway in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.
The development of the Indian attack helicopter began in 2006. The first flight took place in March 2010. It was developed by the Indian national company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
The helicopter was named "Prachand," which means "fierce."
