Grandmaster Aram Hakobyan and Women’s International Master Mariam Mkrtchyan became the winners of the “Kazakhstan Chess Cup 2025” regional chess tournament held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
In the men’s tournament, Aram scored 7.5 points out of 11 possible and became the sole winner of the tournament. In the women’s tournament, Mariam also scored 7.5 points and shared 1st-3rd places, taking 1st place with additional indicators.
