7 gold, 17 silver and 15 bronze medals at the European U23 and Youth Boxing Championships

The European Boxing Championships for U23 and Youth have concluded at the Sports Management Center Sports Complex.

The Armenian national teams have achieved high results, winning a total of 39 medals: 7 gold, 17 silver, and 15 bronze.

In the U23 championship, the gold medalists were Manvel Petrosyan (63 kg) and Harutyun Hakobkokhyan (71 kg).

The silver medals were won by Tumas Tumasyan (48 kg), Suren Rubinyan (54 kg), Voskan Voskanyan (60 kg), Ares Hakobyan (67 kilograms), Marat Mikaelyan (75 kg), and Alik Hovhannisyan (86 kg).

Bronze medalists were Aren Aslamazyan (51 kg), Artur Avetikyan (57 kg), Hamlet Adamyan (80 kilograms), Davit Simonyan (92 kg), and Ishkhan Hovsepyan (+92 kg).

In the U23 girls' competition, Elida Kocharyan (60 kg) won the gold medal, becoming a three-time European champion. Silver medalists were Arevik Dokholyan (52 kilograms), Anahit Mikayelyan (81 kg), and Ani Muradyan (+81 kg). Bronze medals were won by Lusine Gevorgyan (48 kilograms), Lusya Avetisyan (54 kg), Julia Lalayan (57 kg), and Sona Harutyunyan (63 kg).

The Armenian U-23 national team took second place in the team standings and was awarded a trophy, which was received by the team's head coach, Rudik Mkrtchyan. Armenia's representative Harutyun Hakobkokhyan was awarded the Best Athlete of 2025 award within the framework of the European U-23 Boxing Championship.

The gold medalists in the boys' competition of the youth championship were Vagharshak Keyan (54 kg), Andranik Martirosyan (63.5 kg), Argishti Hakobyan (67 kg), and Samvel Siramargyan (75 kg).

The silver medals were won by Harutyun Martirosyan (48 kg), Vahram Dovlatbekyan (51 kg), Tigran Hovsepyan (57 kilograms), Raffi Khachatryan (86 kg), and Tigran Khachatryan (92 kg).

Bronze medalists were Tigran Makichyan (60 kg), Artyom Stepanyan (71 kilograms), Albert Harutyunyan (80 kg), and Sargis Andriasyan (92 kg).

In the girls' competition of the Youth Championship, Heghine Petrosyan (50 kg), Varduhi Asatryan (54 kg), and Elen Papyan (57 kg) became silver medalists. In comparison, Angelina Hayrapetyan (52 kg) and Varduhi Aslanyan (70 kg) won bronze medals.

More than 250 boxers from 25 countries participated in the European Boxing Championships for U23 and Youth.
