Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal will miss Spain's 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Turkey due to injury.
The player was initially included in the Spanish squad.
"Given the current situation and always prioritizing the health, safety, and well-being of the player, the decision has been made to withdraw the player from the squad.
We believe in his successful recovery and wish him a speedy and complete recovery," the Royal Spanish Football Federation said in a statement.
Yamal has scored four goals and provided four assists in eight La Liga games this season.
