The Weightlifting Federation reports that Armenian national team member Mnatsakan Abrahamyan became the vice-champion of the European Under-23 Championship in Durres, Albania.
In the European Championship in the 94 kg weight category, Mnatsakan Abrahamyan had three successful approaches in the snatch, lifting 150 kg, 155 kg, and 160 kg. In this form, Abrahamyan was third.
In the clean and jerk, he lifted 190 kg, 196 kg, 201 kg. In this exercise, the Armenian weightlifter was first.
With a combined result of 361 kg, Mnatsakan Abrahamyan became the silver medalist of the European Under-23 Championship.
