Grandmasters Shant Sargsyan, Robert Hovhannisyan, Hayk Martirosyan, and Gabriel Sargsyan have advanced to the second round of the FIDE Chess World Cup. The Chess Federation of Armenia reports this.
In the second round, Shant Sargsyan will compete with GM George Cori representing Peru. Robert Hovhannisyan's opponent is GM Raunak Sadhvani, representing India. Hayk Martirosyan will compete with GM Vladislav Artemyev, representing FIDE. Gabriel Sargsyan's opponent is GM Maxim Rodstein, representing Israel.
The first game of the second round will start on November 4 at 1:30 p.m.
