13-year-old Armenian chess player Tigran Hambardzumyan has been declared the champion of the open blitz tournament held within the framework of the European Junior and Girls Championship. The Chess Federation of Armenia announced this.
Two hundred eighty-eight chess players from 40 countries participated in the tournament, which had no age restrictions, where Tigran scored 8 points out of 9 possible.
