Juventus has a new head coach

Italian coach Luciano Spalletti has signed a contract with Juventus.

La Gazzetta dello Sport and Gianluca Di Marzio report that the coach visited the Turin club's office on Thursday and signed a contract until the summer of 2026, with the option of a two-year extension if the team finishes in the Champions League knockout stages.

Spalletti then posed for photos and signed autographs. The assembled Juventus fans gave the coach a warm welcome.

The coach's presentation ceremony will take place today.

Earlier, Juventus dismissed Igor Tudor after failing to win in eight games. The team is in 8th place in Serie A.
