Lionel Messi has responded to Jordi Alba's decision to retire. The Argentine commented on Alba's farewell post on Instagram.
"Thank you, Jordi. I will miss you so much. After everything we have been through together, it would be strange for me to look to the left and not see you there.
It is unbelievable how many times you have helped me over the years. Now who will pass me?" - wrote Messi.
It should be noted that the former Spain international announced his intention to leave at the end of the season on his page.
Messi and Alba played together for Barcelona from 2012 to 2021. Since the summer of 2023, they have been playing for Inter Miami.
