At the Greco-Roman Wrestling World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, Armenian national team member and Olympic bronze medalist Malkhas Amoyan became a two-time champion.
In the final, the Armenian wrestler, competing in the 77 kg weight category, defeated Olympic champion Noa Kusaka of Japan, 10:1, and was declared the gold medalist.
