In the 2nd round of Group F of the 2026 World Cup European Zone Qualifiers, the Armenian national team hosted the Irish national team at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan.
After the first half, Yeghishe Melikyan’s team won 1:0. Eduard Spertsyan opened the scoring in the 46th minute with a penalty kick.
